Earlier this month the cast of Bravo’s “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce” hosted the fifth annual BELLA New York Hamptons White Party at the Southampton Social Club.
Guests at the beautiful people party included series star Lisa Edelstein and a whole lotta other Bravo talent: Stephanie Hollman (Bravo’s RHOD), Dolores Catania (Bravo’s RHONJ), Siggy Flicker (Bravo’s RHONJ), Kim Depaola (Bravo’s RHONJ), Stephen McGee (Bravo’s Summer House), Ashley Wirkus(Bravo’s Summer House), Lauren Wirkus (Bravo’s Summer House), Kyle Cooke (Bravo’s Summer House), Daniela Olivera (Bravo’s Summer House), Lindsay Hubbard (Bravo’s Summer House), Everett Weston (Bravo’s Summer House), Emilia Bechrakis (Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing), Tabasum Mir (Bravo’s The Singles Project), plus models Andy Peeke, Ingrid Levin and Amit Neuman, Gabriel Sloyer from Netflix’s “Narcos,” and Beau Garrett. Courtenay Hall and Dan Hall from BELLA were also present.

Also featured in “The Wolves of Wall St.” episode 11 was Southampton-based Douglas Elliman top producer Terry Thompson and members of her “Team Hamptons.”
Missed it? Then tune it Bravo today at 2:30 p.m. for the next showing.
Last night Shelter Islander Andy Cohen helped kick off the shopping season at Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan by showing up and leading the crowds to the annual unveiling of the holiday windows.
He’s been a busy guy lately–starting up his own production company, bottling Lady Gaga’s urine to make perfume and refereeing all of the “Real Housewives” catfights; all the while hosting his “Watch What Happens Live” show and killing it as vice president of development and talent at Bravo. I don’t know how he does it all but he’s very, very good at it and I applaud my fellow pop culture-obsessed media friend and man about town.
I interviewed Andy last year when he came to talk about his book, “Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture,” at the Shelter Island Library. I’m posting the link below.
A fun fact about Andy: he’s taller than you would expect, but his little backside is perhaps the smallest bottom I have ever seen. I’m talking like the size of my two hands. We were at the same magazine event earlier this year and all I wanted to do was grab his tiny tushy and squeeze it. Practicing extreme self control and decorum, I managed to keep my hands to myself. But it was a challenge. : )
I took this photo of Andy, one of my favorites, at the Miracle House benefit in Bridgehampton a couple of years ago. Look closely and you’ll see his face etched on the Maker’s Mark bottle.
Southampton resident Mark Consuelos is riding high right now. Not only is he starring as the sex-crazed junior Senator with Presidential aspirations (are there any other kind?) in Amazon’s “Alpha House,” he was also on the biggest ratings-getter for Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Monday night.
He’s in good company with “Alpha House,” which premieres on Amazon on Friday. The show was written by Garry Trudeau and stars John Goodman, Clark Johnson, Matt Malloy and Mark as four senators who share a house in Washington, D.C.
He was in even better (ha!) company on Monday night with Shelter Island part-timer Andy Cohen and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” spitfire Brandi Glanville. Approximately 922,000 people tuned in to get all the hot gossip, according to the Bravo ratings site.
Way to go Mark! This new show looks absolutely dishy. Can’t wait to tune in and see if it lives up to all the juicy hype.
We already know that’s Dina Lohan in the photo from yesterday’s post but do you know who the two embracing in the background are? Both are from the Bravo stable. Bonus if you know where the photo was taken. I’m guessing that diehard fans of the Andy Cohen network should recognize the place immediately.
The answers will be revealed at the end of the day.
Thanks to his hosting gig on ‘Inside the Actors Studio,’ James Lipton is a household name, albeit one who is of thought of as imperious and pompous.
Here’s the truth–he’s actually a kind, sweet and gentle guy. It’s the voice, which truly is commanding yet mellifluous, that makes him seem so haughty and pedantic.
I’ve seen James, or Jimmy as his friends call him, up close and personal at many events and private get-togethers and he’s always absolutely lovely. He’s also funny and spirited. Who knew?
Think more like his character on ‘Arrested Development’ (though not evil) and MUCH less puffed-up interviewer, as spoofed by comedian Will Ferrell. Actually, the multi-talented Lipton thinks Will’s impression is hilarious and is humbled by the homage.
James and his wife, Kedakai, were the first two notables I ran into at Grand Prix day at the Hampton Classic this past Sunday. They were walking out of the VIP tent to stroll through the grounds with the rest of the regular folk when I espied them. We talked briefly of our mutual friends before they happily posed for a photo.
In May the world was shocked when James, a Chevalier of France’s Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, revealed that he had once been a Parisian pimp. That was surprising, to say the least, but I’m just baffled that he’s 86 years old. Go Jimmy!
Here’s another interesting tidbit: Kedakai, his wife of the last four decades, was the original Miss Scarlett in the game of Clue. For those whose memories of the awesome board game might be hazy, she’s the femme fatale with the long dark hair, cigarette holder and black dress.
Miss USA, Nana Meriwether, was one of many familiar faces at the luxury shopping event on Saturday, held at Jill Zarin’s Hamptons home, to benefit St. Jude’s Hospital. Other beautiful people in attendance included: Christie Brinkley, Carol Alt, Molly Simms, and lots of Bravolebrities, including LuAnn de Lesseps, Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill and Patti Stanger. Fashionista’s heaven with boutiques and lots and lots of personal care giveaways.
