Looks like Sag Harbor’s Candace Bushnell is working on a new book about her most famous body of work. The title? “Is There Still Sex in the City?” And, according to the author herself, it’ll be “Sex and the City” in the Hamptons.

The new novel, which is due to hit stores in August–just in time for Authors Night-– is based on Bushnell’s life and adventures here on the East End, with lots of juicy and scandalous details. It will also include an homage to publicist Jeanine Pepler, who died this past summer. The author of “Summer and the City,” “The Carrie Diaries” “Lipstick Jungle,” and others made the announcement during a dinner with girlfriends at Hakkasan in Manhattan. Those in attendance included Sara Colleton, Jane Wenner, Veronica Webb, Karen Duffy, Nicole Miller, Paula Froelich, Sandra Ripert, Gwen Flamberg, Anne Hearst McInerney and Judy Hottensen, according to Page Six.

According to the Amazon page on the book, “Bushnell documents 21st century dating phenomenon, such as the “Unintended Cub Situation” in which a sensible older woman suddenly becomes the love interest of a much younger man, the “Mona Lisa” Treatment—a vaginal restorative surgery often recommended to middle aged women, and what it’s really like to go on Tinder dates as a fifty something divorcee. Bushnell also updates one of her most celebrated stories from Sex and the City, “The Bicycle Boys,” a breed of New York man who was always trying to bring his bike up to women’s apartments. Once an anomaly, Bushnell charts their new ubiquitousness, in addition to where, and how to do your own man stalking via bicycle (and whether or not it’s worth it).

In Is There Still Sex in The City? Bushnell looks at love and life from all angles—marriage and children, divorce and bereavement, as well as the very real pressures on women to maintain their youth and have it all. This is a pull-no-punches social commentary and an indispensable companion to one of the most revolutionary dating books of the twentieth century.”

Side note: SATC television series star Sarah Jessica Parker is bringing Carrie back, briefly, in a Super Bowl commercial for Stella Artois. The ad — which she posted about on Instagram (see below) — will also reportedly feature Jeff Bridges in character as The Dude from the iconic Coen Brothers film “The Big Lebowski.” “Revisiting a beloved character. Briefly and with a twist. Because, thanks to @stellaartois, when you change up the usual you can do good.X, SJ #Ad #PourItForward
