Attention foodies, the third annual Winter Long Island Restaurant Week is nearly upon us, with dates spanning from Sunday, January 27, through Sunday, February 3. Have you made your reservations yet?
For this now annual winter campaign and award-winning promotion, participating restaurants will offer a $29.95 three-course prix fixe (with at least three selections from the appetizer, entrée and dessert menus) all night every night they are open from Sunday to Sunday, with the exception of Saturday night after 7 p.m.

The Restaurant Week campaigns, which span across the region’s 118-miles from Garden City to Montauk, boast nearly 250 participants each fall and more than 160 during the spring. Long Island Restaurant Week boosts commerce in traditionally sluggish periods, and increases the exposure of our eateries, which feature some of the finest food on the East Coast.
Inspiration for the first Long Island Restaurant Week in 2006 derived from the then five-year-old Hamptons Restaurant Week (now the East End Restaurant Week) and its precursor, New York Restaurant Week, which has been extended and is happening RIGHT NOW, through February 8. The LI campaign is presented by Long Island Restaurant & Hospitality Group, the new business-to-consumer promotions division of WordHampton Public Relations, one of Long Island’s top hospitality PR firms, and also one of my faves.
