Hamptons Happenings: October 12 & 13

It’s the middle of the week in October but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do. Here are three great things that are happening today and tomorrow–Wednesday, October 12, and Thursday, October 13, in the Hamptons.
Dell Cullum, bless him, is showing his film and photo exhibition for “Isabella: A Green Explorer Expedition” at LTV in Wainscott on Thursday, starting at 6:30 p.m. for the photos and 7:30 for the documentary about how littering affects the environment. Powerful stuff!
The Riverhead Marine Research & Rescue Foundation will also be there with a display and info. on how trash and debris affects us and our shorelines right here at home.
The photo exhibit will be of Dell’s work taken during the expedition and never before shown on exhibit. Additionally, three of Billy Strong’s sculptures from the film will be on view.  Admission is free but be a mensch and bring a donation. * Photos here courtesy Dell Cullum.

Tonight, Wednesday, don’t miss the Dancehampton fundraiser at Harbor Bistro. Proceeds from the benefit will help the dancers raise dollars for a trip to Disney.

And tomorrow night, “God of Carnage” opens at the Southampton Cultural Center. See you tomorrow night. In the meantime, read the preview I wrote that’s in this week’s Sag Harbor Express.
