For today, this afternoon, Friday, June 24, the Montauk Library will present “The Three Pigs Puppet Show & Puppet Making Workshop” at 4 p.m. Celebrate the Summer Reading Club Kickoff with a puppet show performed by Liz Joyce & A Couple of Puppets from Goat on a Boat and learn how to make your very own puppet too.
Ziggy Marley is playing the WHBPAC tonight, starting at 8 p.m.

East Hampton Library’s 2016 Tom Twomey Series event “The Cost of Healthcare” will be held on Saturday from 5 to 6 p.m. Speakers will include NY Times Senior Writer Elisabeth L. Rosenthal, M.D. and Robert S. Chaloner, President and CEO, Southampton Hospital, who will discuss the $3 trillion enterprise that is the U.S. health care system, the largest in the developed world, and yet one beset by problems of access, quality and unsustainable costs.
Feel like going for a drive to check out some cool antique American Muscle rides? Then head over to Shelter Island on Saturday for the Fourth Annual Car Show, hosted by the Shelter Island Historical Society and emceed by local radio personality Bonnie Grice. Fun!
On Sunday, it’s the annual Jazz for Jennings Brunch and Concert at the Watermill Center, starting at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds from the fundraiser, which will feature world-class jazz by Cyrus Chestnut, Carl Allen, Dan Rose, Ada Rovatti, Randy Brecker and Kiyoshi Kitagawa, will benefit the Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreational Center.
