If you’re a community-minded person with a burning desire to find out the latest status about community projects in the  Town of Southampton, then I’ve got good news for you!

The Southampton Town website now features a “Community Projects” page. Currently there are eight renovations and building projects that are currently underway and posted on the site, though I can only find one–the Nathaniel Rogers House in Bridgehampton. Regardless, it’s a good idea. Online information will include updates, building progress and even photos, according to a release issued by Southampton Town Supervisor Jay Schneiderman.

“This is an easy way for the public to see how community projects are progressing,” he  says. “I invite all residents to visit our website and see for themselves!”
