Congratulations to bajillion multiple award-winning photographer Michael Heller, who is exhibiting his photos chronicling the renovation of Bulova Watchcase Factory at the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor, starting with an opening reception at the library tomorrow, Thursday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m.
Mike, a truly talented photographer and heck of a guy, and one I’m proud to call a colleague at the Sag Harbor Express, made 115 visits to the Bulova site over a four-year period to document the progress of the renovation of this historic structure from start to finish. His documentation has been compiled into a major full-color book, “Watchcase: The Story of a Rebirth.”
Stop in at the library and check out his photos. He’s doing a Q&A during the reception, which will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It’s free but space is limited so pre-register if you want to be sure to catch him. The exhibit will hang through June 8. BRAVO!
