The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill is urging everyone to participate in a Hearts for Art social media campaign by celebrating the love of art and Valentine’s Day. Throughout the weekend, Museum visitors are invited to pick up a paper heart at the Visitor Services desk and place it in front of their favorite work on display in the galleries. Guests are encouraged take photographs of their “art crush” and share it on their preferred social media platform using #parrishartmuseum and #heartsforart.
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons is holding a special Valentine’s Open House and Low Cost Vaccine Clinic on Saturday, February 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the adoption center in Wainscott. Vaccines and microchipping will be offered for a mere $10 each. Also on Saturday, ARF will take part in Operation Puppy Love, and will be on hand at Gabreski Airport in Westhampton to accept 30 rescue dogs from Puerto Rico. Lastly, the ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop in Sagaponack will be holding a Presidents’ Day Weekend Sale From Friday, February 12, through Monday, February 15.
