Brace yourselves my year-rounding East Ender friends. Not only have we broken the seal already on seasonal rentals early this year, the prices are much bigger than ever before AND experts predict that it’s going to be one freaking busy summer. Good for the economy, not so much for our anxiety thresholds if we plan to step even a foot out of the house between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
As the New York Times and Newsday have recently reported, rental prices are up across the board–due to softer sales in the double-million-dollar ranges at 2015 year’s end, they say–and lotsa money has already been plunked down for temporary ownership of the crème de la crème of summer properties.
