Photos from Guild Hall’s Student Arts Opening

I’ve got some wonderful photos to share with you from the “Student Arts Festival Part I, Grades K-8” opening, which was held on Sunday, January 31, at Guild Hall in East Hampton.
If you haven’t yet seen the exhibit, make sure you do! The work done by our local young artists will remain on view through February 21. Next up, the Student Arts Festival Part II, Grades 9-12 will hang from March 5 through April 3, with an opening reception planned for March 12, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Now in its 24th year, the Student Arts Festival celebrates the young artists of our region and salutes their devoted art instructors, school administrators, and families who nurture their creative pursuits. Each year, schools from Bridgehampton to Montauk participate in Guild Hall’s two inspiring student exhibitions. The museum features more than 3,500 works of student art that cover the gallery walls floor to ceiling salon-style. Museum hours for this free exhibit are Monday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Thanks to Barbara Jo Howard and the rest of the gang at Guild Hall for always keeping me in the loop. And ty too for the photos BJ!

The Student Arts Festival is underwritten by Bridgehampton National Bank
