Psychobaby, featuring lead singer Juliet Garrett of Shelter Island, has just had their first-ever music video premier on Independent Music News (click on the link to watch it) earlier this month. AND they were featured as ‘Emerging Artist of the Week’ by Headcount, a non-profit organization that works to register music fans to vote and increase participation in democracy, recently too. Want to see the band live? They are playing at Pianos in the East Village tonight, Wednesday, December 16, at 11 p.m.

The Lynn Blue Band takes the stage at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett on Saturday, December 19, from 8 to 9:30 PM. Catch Lynn and the boys–Dave Portocarrero, The REV Jim Nanos, Alex Sarkis and special guest Paul Brokaw on keys–for rockin’ good time.

Looking for something amazing to do tonight? Head to Guild Hall in East Hampton at 7 p.m. to watch the Young Cowgirls share their inspiring stage creations. These creative lasses, led by the lovely and creative Kate Mueth, have met once a week for the past two months to journal, explore and direct one another in dance theater pieces based on Elizabethan pavanes. The results, performance art meant to compel and inspire, should be well worth the trip.
