Today is already a busy one but that doesn’t mean that we can’t make time for pleasure. I’ve got two entertaining biggies on my agenda today, in addition to lots of interviews and deadlines, deadlines, deadlines.
Hope to see you at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor sometime today for the Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival. There are a bunch of really good movies screening this year. I’m hoping to catch at least one of the following today: “What Happened Miss Simone,” “Outermost Radio” and “Very Semi-Serious.”
Speaking of Take 2, I got word last night that honoree Stanley Nelson, director of “The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution,” WILL be able to make it to the shindig in his honor on Saturday night. Busy with award season, he was initially planning to pop in via Skype. Read more about the eighth annual festival here:
Later on, swing by Guild Hall in East Hampton for what’s sure to be a SPECTACULAR “Spectacular Christmas Carol” with the gang from Our Fabulous Variety Show. The opening night performance is at 7:30 p.m. The show stages again tomorrow and Sunday if you miss it tonight, but don’t wait too long for tickets because they should be selling out fast!
