The talent and brains behind Our Fabulous Variety Show have done it again! I have it on super good authority that their next production, “Our Adventures in Wonderland,” is going to really rock!

The show opens at Guild Hall in East Hampton on Friday, September 18, and will run this weekend and next, through Sunday, September 27. This eleventh OFVS production was inspired by Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” and is being staged in celebration of the 150th very merry un-birthday of the classic tale, albeit with a whole bunch of new twists and turns. Literally, as the staged version will feature many styles of dance, including ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz funk and hip hop, plus musical performances by several soloists.

The show stars Tori Schmitt as Alice, Tony D’Alessio as the Mad Hatter, Joe Brondo as the March Hare, Lee Michel as the White Queen, Peter Nolan as Mr. Chesire, Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Kristen Curcie as the Ace of Spades, and Hannah Medler as the White Rabbit. The show will also feature Taylor Duchemin, Thomas Sulfaro, Kayla Angona, Lianna Cangin, Vincent DiMaria, Alexandria DiMaria, Madison Florian, Tali Friedman, Hannah Hartsough, Kate Havlicek, Emma Hren, Kelly Hren, Georgia Hren, Georgia Kenny, Claire Krauss, Megan Kremer, Krystal Lamiroult, Eden Lowlicht, Mary McDonald, Brittanie Naughton, Kerri O’Donnell, Ryleigh O’Donnell, Mia Pardini, Sophia Renna, Olivia Suter, and Christina Terry.

Show dates and times are  Friday, September 18, at 7:30 pm; Saturday, September 19, at 2 pm and 7:30 pm; Friday, September 25, at 7:30 pm; Saturday, September 26, at 7:30 pm, with a special cabaret production of “Wonderland After Hours” at 9:30 pm featuring Danny Raffa DEOX and other variety show favorites; and Sunday, September 27, at 2pm. The OFVS production will benefit the OFVS Performing Arts Scholarship Fund as well as the organization HUGS, Inc., a drug and alcohol prevention program and service organization for youth on the East End. Tickets begin at $15 and vary be seat.
