The “Surf Craft” auction will be held on Saturday, September 5, at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Artists who have designed surfboards include: Peter Dayton, Scott Bluedorn, Richard Phillips, Caio Fonseca, Isca Greenfield-Sanders, Fitzhugh Karol, Greg Fadell, Darius Yektai, and Carl Ekstrom (who uses a textile created by LongHouse Founder Jack Lenor Larsen in his design). Betsey Johnson, who has moved to Malibu, is hosting a Labor Day yard sale at her East Hampton house, located at 25 Grape Arbor Lane, on Sunday, September 6, and Monday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The self-proclaimed “hoarder and pack rat” will be selling off a TON of vintage clothing, her own designs, and other personal items, which she guesses to be somewhere in the vicinity of 10,000 or so total pieces.
