Oh, how I love a good food event. Dan’s Taste of Two Forks, which more than lives up to its “Paradise for Foodies” distinction, never disappoints.
This year’s foodtastic event was held on Saturday, July 12, at Sayre Park in Bridgehampton. Anna Pump–chef, cookbook author, baker, and Bridgehampton Inn and Loaves & Fishes owner–was honored and Katie Lee and Geoffrey Zakarian hosted.
More than 40 restaurants were represented from both the North and South Forks, thus the name of the event. I don’t know how many showed up (including namesake Dan Rattiner, LuAnn de Lesseps and Nick Loeb) but I do know that the sellout spectacular was jam-packed, in the very best way. Though there were lots and lots of amazing offerings, my favorite two bites of the night: the spicy shrimp tostadas from The Riverhead Project and the toasted coconut ice cream cone from Joe & Liza’s. Cheers to Two Forks!
