Ever since Restaurant Week arrived, I’ve had serious food on the brain.
In fact, it feels like every single mealtime since has been spent galavanting around from one hotspot to the next. Seafood has been the big winner of late: the crab avocado salad at Bobby Van’s (I’ll fess up, I’ve had it twice this week already) in Bridgehampton and the lobster BLT at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor most recently. I’m SERIOUSLY craving me some lobster taco or fish taco action at La Brisa in Montauk. Looks like a trip the To End is in my near future.
Whilst on the topic of great food, here’s a tasty morsel or two about seafood restaurant news:
* 668 The Gig Shack in Montauk opens for the season on Friday. For info and rezzies, visit http://www.668thegigshack.com or call (631) 668-2727.
* Bostwick’s Chowder House in East Hampton hosts its season opener this Thursday. Visit http://www.bostwickschowderhouse.com or call (631) 324-1111 to learn more.
