Despite what must be an incredibly difficult time, Amagansett resident–and super nice guy–Chris Martin has not shied away from the spotlight of late. The multi-instrumentalist debuted as a guest mentor on “The Voice” last night and will soon be introducing one of his musical idols, fellow Brit Peter Gabriel, during his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction on April 10.
Hamptons visitor (and one of my very favorite interviews of all time) Stevie Nicks will also be at the ceremony this year. She’ll be joining Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow and Carrie Underwood in a salute to 2014 inductee Linda Rondstadt.
The other 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of fame inductees include: Cat Stevens, Daryl Hall and John Oates, KISS, Nirvana, Brian Epstein, Andrew Loog Oldham and The E Street Band.
The 29th annual ceremony will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It will be simulcast starting at 7 p.m. at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, and will be rebroadcast on HBO in May.
