Big Weekend for Beth and Howard Stern

Big Weekend for Beth and Howard Stern

Happy belated birthday to Howard, who turned 60 on January 12 (Christie Brinkley, Oprah and Howard–60 is the new 30!) and celebrated in GRAND style last night with a giant birthday bash at the Hammerstein Ballroom in the city.
Howard was serenaded by another Hamptons famous face, Jon Bon Jovi, who played “Dead or Alive,” as well as by Adam Levine and Steven Tyler. Shelter Island’s Andy Cohen, Southampton’s Barbara Walters, East Hampton’s Katie Couric and Sagaponack’s Jimmy Fallon also made the cut, as did Steve Tisch, who I see everywhere out here. I guess my invitation got lost in the mail …
A few ther notables at the soiree included: emcee Jimmy Kimmel, Robin Quivers, Rosie O’Donnell (I guess they aren’t feuding?), Sandra Bernhard, Dr. Drew (Andy tweeted that he, Sandra and Dr. Drew were at the same table), Robert Downey Jr., Larry King, Harvey Weinstein, David Spade, Johnny Knoxville, Joan Rivers, Dave Grohl, George Takei, Jeff Probst, Heidi Klum, John Stamos, Louis C.K., Kathy Griffin, David Letterman, Bryan Cranston, Chelsea Handler, Chris Christie, Lena Dunham, Whoopie Goldberg, Sarah Silverman and Tracy Morgan. And because it was Howard’s party, highs and lows were in evidence and in your face as Tan Mom and assorted unique characters were also there.
As for Beth–she’s got lots to celebrate too as the host of the inaugural Kitten Bowl, which will be airing on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, February 2, at noon. Hats off to this lovely lady–and mom to pets Apple, Walter, Leon Bear, Charlie Boy and Bella–who is an extremely dedicated animal advocate. She’s done so much for so many of our furry friends. Her latest project is Bianca’s Furry Friends, a newly planned Feline Adoption and Wellness Center at the North Shore Animal League.
Cheers to the Sterns.
